Who Needs a Jungle?

I had a hard time capturing how cute this top really is in a picture. Especially since the beginning of a ginormous headache was hiting me. I despise headaches that lay you out! Don't they understand that mommies just do not have the time for them??? My kids go into a weird panic mode when daddy says I am "off limits". They will find millions of ways to sneak into my room, truth is.....it warms my heart.

Back to the Animal Asymmetrical Ruffle Button Down Shirt (geesh that is a long name), I really love this top and it is a great substitute for J Crew's giraffe print that I missed out on. The material is polyester done right, it is really smooth and soft and it hangs really well!

Off to Work (how strange)

Yesterday I wore an outfit I just loved but I couldn't find my camera as I ran out the door to fill out my final paperwork and get my schedule. When I saw how many hours I was lucky enough to receive, I proceeded to uncontrollably sob the whole way home so I figured that picture of me would not be too great.  *don't fret if you are applying for a seasonal position, I actually accepted a full time temporary position for an employee who is on a leave of absence*

Today, I am pulled back together and trying to keep in perspective that this is temporary and I will see my kids again and they won't be emotionally scarred forever. This is the cardigan and pencil skirt that I picked up at Target, it is part of the Merona collection and the quality is amazing for the low price! For fun I added a silver ruffle top to mix with the gold accents.

Merona Collection and Say Hello

Target is a dangerous place for me usually...okay....always. But today I found some truly beautiful pieces from the Merona Collection which is a higher end version of Merona.

I picked up this beautiful wool tweed pencil skirt in this gorgeous shade of plum with some grey blended in along with this v-neck cardigan in an "almost navy" with gorgeous buttons. I am sure I will wear it soon so you can get a better look at what quality pieces they are! It was hard to catch the color in the picture.

And, now to turn the camera on my little (well, not so little anymore) camera man. This is my handsome 13 year old that is forced to take photos of my outfits each week......say hello!
