Ahoy

I have had a few weak moments. A cardigan I love popped back up, new LOFT arrivals for Fall are coming in and I am so absolutely in love with one jacket but guess what? I still haven't shopped.

I wore this to work last night. What? I know, I felt bad wearing all J Crew to work but it was a fun day and I didn't feel like completely changing for work. Plus, I knew it would be a mellow night after the 40% off sale had ended and the holiday weekend was over.

During the day I had on the top with my weekend jeans. We had a picnic at the lake, fed some ducks and played on the playground. I love how the toddlers are are such best friends that even when in a duck feeding frenzy they end up gravitated to one another. Next month, Christopher will have lived with us for two years and he and Cooper have a relationship as if they were twins (even though they are three months apart and look nothing alike). They have their own words, inside jokes and are attached at the hip at all times.

Beautiful color! You're making me feel the need to go out and buy more pencil skirts. You look amazing in this outfit.

I love it!!! I am so impressed with you and how well you are sticking with your ban... I think if you do something publically then it's harder to back out of!!!

I love your outfit! Chic! I love the story about your 2 littlest boys! So sweet. I love that you have 4 boys - what fun you must have! Stick to your ban!! I need the moral support over here!! I am making returns this week - lots of them, with the resolve to stop shopping. I need NOTHING!!

I just love your style. I'm in my late 20's and learning what I like and what I'm comfortable in these days, as it has changed. I feel like I dress modest (by choice) but also still want to appear fun =) Way to give me some help along the way!!

... and way to be strong with your shopping ban. I did one of those back in Feb '09 and completely blew it as soon as the month was over. That wasn't the point! =)

Tricia-I agree that doing it publically makes it a little easier to stick to!

Leah-my worst fear is that I will overcompensate for the ban come August but with back to school shopping for the kiddos, I won't be able to unless we plan to skip some meals ;)

That is just so sweet and tender about your youngest boys!

You look great in your work outfit - the coral and navy are awesome together!

This is lovely on you. The navy and coral really work well together in the outfit.

I'm hooked on the striped tops this summer - just waiting to wear my striped always cardi once the weather cools off.
