LOFT Ink Shift Dress

Seriously, I think LOFT just got tired of coming up with creative names for their items. Either that or the description was just easier for locating items but that would be way too sensible. Today I am wearing the Ink Shift Dress with Ruffle Neckline that I am going to rename the Watercolored Poppies Shift Dress.

This is too short for me but I love the print and neckline so I am finding other ways to wear it. Here is today's look, what do you think? Can I pull this one off?

As a quick update, I did send out an email to everyone who requested a Friends & Family coupon that our associate link isn't working. I am going to try to figure it out tonight when I go in to work. Promise I won't forget about ya!

No question, you absolutely make that work! This is such a great outfit, I love the dress with the black belt and leggings. So cute!

Yes, you pull this off beautifully. Short dress, but your leggings keep the look modern and very cute ...

This is such a beautiful print--the length is unfortunate for taller gals, but you are still rocking it with leggings! Does the print come in a top? There are so many pretty prints (Impressionist skirt!) that I passed on because of length issues. *sigh*

Wow! That dress looks awesome on you! Is that the long-sleeve v-neck cardigan in the Oak Brown Melange color? Is the color in your pic close to that color in real life? And what size of the cardigan are you wearing if I may ask? I like that length on you but the pics on the model make the cardigan look shorter somehow. How does it compare to the length of the JCrew infinity cardigan? Sorry for all the questions! I just really love this look on you =)

Apples and Pencil Skirts-so far they have just made a scarf in this print (besides the dress). I am on the same page as you with the lengths. I like the regular J Crew pencil skirts as opposed to the shorter length

Mamaliu-the cardigan is the oak brown melange color which I just LOVE. In fact, almost all of the SA's bought one in this color. It may be a tad browner IRL but it seems to go with everything! Today I am wearing a Medium (the small sold out in two days in our store) but yesterday I wore a small in the vintage yellow. I don't have the infinity cardigan but the length of the medium is pretty much the exact length of the medium long merino cardigan from J Crew

Super cute..you can def pull this off! It would be great with tights/tall boots as well. I do think I would prefer maybe a black flat or darker flat shoe with the leggings but you still look darling as usual=)

LOFT has many great floral print scarves, I see. But I think I love that you can really see the print by having it in the dress versus scarf. Enjoy!

Barbara-it was great meeting you too! You and your husnad were adorable and the pencil skirt was perfection on you.

Jan-I am convinced of the same thing about you!

Bellamama-I loved Linger. It is a literary masterpiece but a great read nonetheless. I wasn't sure how she was going to follow up Shiver (1st book in the series) but it was just as good. If you liked Twilight, you'll like these books!

Anonymous-I am so glad you liked the key lime pie!

I should have the F & F code out to everyone, if you didn't get it, please just let me know :)
