Watercolors, Disguises and KEY LIME PIE!

I love Sundays, what more can I say? Here is what I wore to church today. Once home I promptly put on a pair of sweats, my campfire cardigan, a lounge tee and slippers............ahhhhhh.......

And now for the Key Lime Pie recipe. This is the easiest and yummiest key lime pie recipe I have ever come across....trust me, it is soooooo delicious!

Ingredients:

9"graham pie crust (this is a little larger size then standard)
5 T of powdered sugar
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of key lime juice
2 14oz cans of sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
optional: lime zest for garnishing

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Whisk together lime juice, condensed milk and eggs in a large bowl until fully blended and smooth. Pour into pie crust. Bake for 17 minutes.

Allow pie to chill for 2 hours in freezer, remove. Mix sour cream and powdered sugar and spread over the top of pie with spatula. Garnish with lime zest.

And lastly, here are some pictures of the toddlers from the other day. Since Christopher is "in disguise" I can share his photo with you- I can't wait until the adoption is official! Can you believe they are just three months apart?? Cooper is a linebacker and Christopher is our little tater tot!

another cute outfit! looks like that featherweight cotton ruffle cardigan in sepia would go with this skirt too! It goes great with that brownish-orange in my sunshine peonies pencil skirt, and you were right - it also goes with the neapolitan skirt! I'm glad I got it.

Key Lime Pie looks great, makes me hungry for dessert! I'll have to give your recipe a shot next time I need/want to make dessert.

Love the pictures of the boys "in disguise" :) That's awesome that they seem to get along so well too!

The lavender looks really pretty with that floral print. I did the same exact combo for my 2 year old. Got her the waterfloral dress and some cute little lavender cardi with the 30% off. That's the baby version of your outfit! :-)
By the way, your babies are looking too too cute, and seem to be having fun too!

I think my jaw dropped when I saw the sour cream as an ingredient.
Never in a million years would I have imagined, but sounds like it is worth a try!

P.S> The boys are adorable in their disguises!

Such a pretty outfit for Sunday morning - I love that Lavendar Jackie - I have one in my online cart right now, and I hope it will still be there when the next promo pops up... Your boys are so cute, I hope Christopher's adoption will be finalized soon!

Where did you find your bandolino shoes in the natural color? I can find them in black but not natural.

Eleanor-I know, sour cream sounds crazy but it works!

Jordan's Mom-I got the nude bandolino's at Macy's a while back.

Thanks for all the adoption good wishes ya'll!
