Well hey there blogging friends, we have now survived Monday and are trudging through the week! Our schools start next Wednesday so this week is full of registration, orientations and more back to school shopping in the daytime followed by football, work, and "official" cross country in the evenings. I am going to have to start weekly spreadsheets to keep everything organized. Thankfully the toddlers schedule is simple (minus the potty training going on AGAIN). I already miss the simplicity of summer vacation and it isn't quite over yet. Here is what I wore yesterday:
*outfit details are below on the Polyvore*
Here is the Polyvore for this outfit. As you can see it was "my closet's version" of an image from the 2010 Spring J Crew catalog.
Wide Braided Belt, $39
p.s Did you see that J Crew is having an extra 30% off sale items promo? Did you get anything? I tried to restrain and just grabbed the superfine pencil skirt in beechwood.

I love those shoes! So gorgeous and that cardigan is fantastic.
Potty training? I'm so over it. We're not even trying anymore. At this point, she's going to be in diapers at her high school graduation.
LOVE this outfit! Good luck with the busy week ahead :)
No restraint here. They need to stop these sales lol
I also LOVE this outfit! Such a simple, but polished look!
Absolutely NO restraint! I purchased toothpick jeans in the amore wash, 2 featherweight bling-button cardigans (orchid shadow and natural), the flower sketch tee in pearl, the sparkle waves henley in blush stone, and the scattered flower henley in orchid shadow (can you tell that I'm loving "orchid shadow"?). The great thing is, I purchased ALL of that for $150. That's pretty darn good for JCREW merchandise. I've been trying not to browse the website lately, but couldn't resist the great deals. Anyone else? Come on, make me feel better about my splurge!!
Great job replicating the outfit. I bought the shimmer crinkle ruffle tank in grey (i already have it in the golden color but love it so much) and the falling ruffles tank, the prices made them too hard to resist.
I love your outfit too! As for sales, I showed great restraint with the J. Crew sale, but none when it came to Anthropologie's sale. Very bad.
I was trying to potty train my little one too! Can't say I had any success, but I will try again soon. He's gotta learn sometime...I hope. :)
Ooooh I love that belt and pencil skirt! I didn't pick up anything new in the J.Crew sale but rebought a couple of things I bought 2 discounts ago...it's cool but also annoying when J.Crew keeps dropping prices so quickly on items.
Lovely outfit as always! And I had to sit the JCrew sale out this time since so many things are tempting me at Anthro right now.
I wish i could go over to your house each morning and pick out an outfit! I've never made a comment before but i wanted to let you know i get outfit inspiration from you, and truly love your style! :)
i really love your style and love this outfit a lot!
Oh, this is such a great re-do of the catalog outfit...dare I say I like your color combo better? =) I have a few things sitting in my J Crew shopping cart but I think I'm gonna pass...I'm headed into the city this weekend to shop so I'm trying to hold out for that!
Great recreation of that photo! Looks adorable. I restrained myself from the J.Crew sale so far, but mostly b/c it's FS. I do have a nice rewards card to use, so I'm still debating a few things.
Absolutely love it! I picked up that belt from Loft at your recommendation during F&F and it's awesome - I'm so glad you pointed it out to us! Our school starts in two weeks, but I am more then ready to be back on a schedule...
I love your outfit! The ruffled cardigan is to die for. You also have great hair, I have always wanted hair that looks like yours. :)
I want to small your panties
