Inspired

Last week M & M's mommy tagged me on Polyvore to create  a set using one item from her set. I chose to use the tiered ruffle skirt since I never pull mine out of the closet. Here is the Polyvore I created:
TaggedFashion Trends & Styles - Polyvore

Since it was more of a fun set, I used a lot of items that I don't own (yet). So yesterday I decided to create an IRL set inspired by Polyvore and here is what I came up with:

I substituted the Coralie cami with the tissue garland tank in Sepia and I have on a pair of old Mootsies Tootsies shoes. This interpretation works better for my lifestyle but if I ever get my hands on the cami and the amazing Juliene heels, I may just have to try it out!

GORGEOUS! I love the entire look! I just got the Rah Rah Rumba skirt from Anthro, that reminds me of the J.Crew you have on. And I saw you tagged me...but I actually have no idea what I'm supposed to do??? I'll play along, I'm just not sure what the "rules" are ;)

I love that look!!! You always look so cute!!! And seriously you are SO TAN!!! I sometimes do miss the days when we lived in Florida... not enough to move back though!

You look so cute. I like your IRL outfit a lot. BTW-I tried the Juliene heels on in store and they're kind of wobbly. I love the look of them, but once I walked around in them-not my favorite anymore. But, I don't often wear heels so I'm sure you'll have better luck.

You look fantastic! As always;) I'm off to check out that skirt.

Too funny, I guess I am getting pretty tan this summer! I try to get some sun and read a little each day while the kids are playing in the backyard. Funny part is, I am still pale from behind since I never turn over ;o)

Jan-the rah-rah-rumba skirt is so cute, which color did you get?

JulieStyles-thanks for the tip on the shoes, I will make sure to try them on in store first!

Hollylovescrew-I think I see a posting for this skirt almost every Monday on the JCA's looking to sell feature. You can get it at a really good price. That is how I got mine ;)

Hi Debye,

I noticed you score some of your pieces from ebay. Are there particular sellers you stick with?

That outfit's a keeper. I like how you wrapped it up in a neat bow w/the shoe color. Nice work ;-)

Hollylovescrew-I am kind of all over the place on eBay but I do buy from dufusshopaholic a lot. She has a great selection and she is really nice to work with.

Annie-welcome :o)

I'm so glad I found your blog. I have been in a Anthro rut lately, drawn in and only buying Anthro items. ??It must have been the fumes from all the candles LOL, any way thank you for reminding me that there are other stores out there. I love your style and I won't lie, I'm going to be copying some. Could you tell me if the tissue garland tank runs true to size? I usually wear a medium in tops at Anthro, sometimes a large. Thanks Nancy

Summerlynnd-copy away!!! The tissue garland tank runs large. If you wear a Medium (sometimes L) at anthro then I would at least get a Medium but you could get away with a small as well. I usually wear a medium at Anthro and I got this in a small
