Spotted!

Hope everyone is enjoying the remainder of their weekend! Our LOFT finally put out their new arrivals so I was able to break out my favorite new items, the Spotted Cheetah Pencil Skirt. I love the colors and fit of this skirt but I especially love that it has an animal print feel without looking like a real animal print. I don't want to ever look like one of those adorable little old ladies on the casino bus, decked out head to toe in velour leopard....do you know what I am talking about?

Anywhoooo....Chase wanted to be in this picture, jammies and all!

Here is my other work outfit. I told you I was going to steal your look Amy K! After work Saturday the boys and I made up Spam Burgers (don't ask) and homemade lemon meringue pie for Father's Day dinner. My poor hubby can't move around much with his knee so we couldn't do our annual trip to Julian for Apple Pie so instead he gets to be waited on, treated to all his favorite meals and take an uninterrupted nap after church. He better not get it used to it!

Oh, and yes Tricia....I did do some Father's Day weekend shopping for myself..!

Just found your blog. I love moms with style! Both outfits are great, especially that spotted skirt.

Hi! I think spam burgers sound great. Mmmm...

For father's day, my hubby is getting cheesy shrimp and grits. :)

I think you look so good in pencil skirts, they almost need to be outlawed...teehee.

Gorgeous!! I just discovered your blog and love it. Your style is similar to mine and I love how you mix and match your pieces! I feel the same way about animal prints. I love the more subtle pieces. Especially since my hubby is not a fan of animal prints too.

Great look. I need to stop by Loft. I haven't been in one in ages. Off to do a store locator.

LOL at the casino granny's! You look super pretty in your subtle dose of animal print. Both outfits are fantastic! I hope your hubby's knee heals quickly - nothing like a Spam Burger to nurse you back to health ;)

Great outfits! Your legs are so tan - I want tan legs, but it's always freezing here on the coast! I was in YOUR store today! And got this extra 40% off! http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=24987&Ntt=cardigan&N=0&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Nty=1&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&found=22&No=15&defaultSizeType=Petite

You look so fabulous in both outfits (and every other day...*sigh*) and now I'm KICKING myself for returning that bow-tie top. Ugh! Does your store have any left? If you see one hanging around let me know.

My husband got a sandwich for Father's Day. With chips and french onion dip. His request so I was pretty happy that it was easypeasy (plus it's way too hot in TX to cook anyway, right)?

Oh, one more thing. How do you style your hair? Mine is getting long and I'm so tempted in this heat to chop it off, but yours always looks so cute and easy. Do you flatiron it? You've got gorgeous hair (and clothes, and a tan, and um, okay I'll stop now since I sound like a stalker)!

Just found your blog via J Crew Aficianada and you've inspired me to buy more pencil skirts. You look fabulous in them. And LOL at all your cardigans. You and me both. I'll be reading along. Keep up the great posts. You look classy and covered; a winning combination!

Hehehe, you look adorable! I love that spotted skirt! You're right in that it is animal print without being too animal print-y. Reserve the head-to-toe animal prints for Halloween, haha! And WOW, you did a great interpretation of my outfit! You look so put together and beautiful! I love it with the off-white skirt!
