shhhh.....we're hiding

The weekend was crazy, cleaning and packing for our trip up to Northern California that we ended up cancelling the night before. So now we are on a "stay-cation" but no one really knows we are here. Pretty nice if I do say so! I am behind on blogging and taking OOTD photos but here are two quick ones!

Here is what I wore to church on Sunday, I just love this skirt!
Jackie cardigan in Sand Dune-J Crew
Scattered Petals tank- J Crew
Oak Tweed Pencil Skirt-J Crew
Nude Bandolino pumps-Macys

Here is what I wore yesterday for a few errands and some fun at the playground!

Headache Tee-J Crew Factory Store
Chiffon Forget-me-not cardigan-J Crew
Long & Lean Jeans-Gap

Tomorrow Christopher turns three so it is time to get to baking his racecar cake! Remember, you didn't see me....wink!

My lips are sealed. I've come back from a vacation and kept mum and didn't let people know. it's so nice to be under the radar!

I love that Oak Tweed pencil skirt!

The Jackie cardi and petals tank are divine with the oak tweed skirt!

Sorry to hear you had to bail on your getaway. Enjoy your quiet time. That can be even more relaxing than a holiday sometimes. :)

Love your blog and style! Just bought the miz mooz sachi shoes. Are they comfortable??? They just came in the mail and don't feel that comfortable- narrow in the toes. Maybe they need breaking in? Do you wear yours often? I'm a mom too and need to be running around a lot. Thanks

I won't say a word! I love all the neutrals in the first look. Happy Birthday to your little guy! You'll have to share with us what you wear to the party.

That has got to be fun staying at home, when no one has any idea! I hope they don't read your blog! I love both outfits and good luck on your cake I want to see a picture!

Happy Birthday Christopher! You are such a hands on mom--that racecar cake sound like a complicated yet sweet idea. Love the first outfit--complements your tan.

Jeannie- I use the sachi's on Polyvore as a stand in for my Mootsies Tootsies that I can't find a picture of so I can't swear to their comfortability. That said, I have never found a pair of Miz Mooz (so far) that my feet didn't like and the reviews I have read on these say they are really comfy.

Bellamama-the cake is really simple. I guess it is technically a race car track cake that I put cars on ;) I'll be sure to get a picture for you guys!

Happy birthday to your sweet boy - Sawyer had a racetrack cake for his 4th, but I had to enlist a friend to bake it! I'm glad you are all enjoying your change in plans and just having some down time together.

Love both your OOTD - no one mixes their neutrals as perfectly as you do!
