I need more Cow Bell...I mean Cowl Neck

Yesterday I was able to wear my new Cowl Neck Sweater Dress to work. Since the temperatures keep going up here at least I have work to wear my fall clothing too!

Here is how I wore it to work originally with a white button up underneath:
I am one of those people who always gets hot and luckily so is my manager. Unfortunately for me last night she wasn't there to keep the store nice and cold so I ended up taking off a layer and I snapped a quick pic after we closed up!
Tomorrow Chase officially turns SEVEN. Where does time go????  I am back on a tight spending budget (which is where I always should be) but I think I may have to  pick up the bici tee soon I was hoping for an in store promo....if you see one let me know!

Love the outfit and your boots. Quick question though who makes your boots? Thank you!

I really like it without the white shirt. I love the boots and black tights- your legs look very long! lol @ cowbell

Your title cracked me up, just the thought of Will Ferrel in a half-shirt with a cowbell.... :) I am also in the "always hot" club, and would never have thought to layer this with the shirt underneath, but I love it!

Anonymous-the boots are Steve Madden from last winter

Martha & Laurie_MIW-that is one of the best SNL skits of all time. I can never hear cowbell in a song without the exact mental image you were talking about Laurie. Also, whenever it is really hot I always have the urge to say "milk was a bad choice"

Cute cute cute! This looks so adorable on you...I also prefer it without the white shirt I think...a litlte more casual. THanks for the IRL pics!!

I love the outfit without the white shirt! Your legs look a mile long in the leggings and boots combo.

It's official - I need the dress now! Which really doesn't make sense because it's 95 in SC today! Ugh, I'm ready for sweaters and tights and boots (oh my!). Great outfit, with and without the shirt. :)

The title of your post is HILARIOUS! I laugh every time just as hard as the first when I see that skit. I also like it without the white shirt better. Note to self: must buy dress...

Love the title today - one of my fave SNL skits of all time, too. Love the dress with or without the white shirt. You always look adorable!

You look fantastic in this dress! I always run hot too, and feel weird about it since most girls are complaining about how cold they are all the time...glad I'm not alone!

Happy birthday to your sweet boy - hope your family has fun celebrating tomorrow!

Wow, you sell that dress very well! Makes me want to buy it and I might just do so.

I just went to check out that dress online and you look 10x better than the model they have on the website. You do the dress so much more justice!

I tried it on yesterday in the charcoal and it's a hot dress! I am in front of a class of 18-22 year olds for work and felt like it was a bit too much so I passed. It's very form flattering. Sort of regretting passing on it now, you look great! And I finally tried on a pair of Loft's new denim and I'm impressed, much better fit and style than in previous years. Snapped up a pair of the regular boot cut that look like expensive premium denim.

I like the dress both ways but I think it was very clever to style it with the shirt underneath. I will have to try that with some of my sweater dresses at some point!

This is so great on you! Can you help with sizing? I usually wear a size 2 in tops, and 4/6 in bottoms.
